Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her work in the film as actress Savitri. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her acting journey began in the mid 2000s. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The movie did not perform well in the theater. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. A busy schedule during 2015 led her to opt out of films that she was already working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor for Prabhu's Thodari. The film's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and will now take place after September of 2020. The film will be released under a different title Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was the lead actress alongside Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan that premiered on the 17th of January, 2017.
