Eve was born to Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. Jack and George are her brothers. They were raised in their home in the United Kingdom as well as Los Angeles. She attended Bedales School, and took A-Levels at the London's Westminster School. She was a student of English in St Catherine's College Oxford during her summer break. While studying at Oxford the actress was an undergraduate in the productions An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers as well as The Colour of Justice. Her birthplace was in an ethnically diverse family with an Indo British father Anthony Mitra of British descent and the maternal grandmother Nora Downey. The English actor, who is aged middle, has two brothers: Jason Mitra (older brother) and Guyan Mitra (younger brother). Her younger sibling is a travel journalist who has published on Lonely Planet, The Sunday Times and many other publications.
