Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. She is the oldest child of 4 children. She was encouraged by her parents, dentist and teacher who both taught her to follow her love of acting. This contrasted her earlier ambition to pursue a career as a primateologist since she was a fan of monkeys. It was a quick rise for her to be an internationally renowned young actress. Her career began in earnest in 1999 when she started acting professionally. Following her studies Tautou participated in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was a student at in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and enrolled in the school at the age of a child but has sworn off her Catholic childhood. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. The modeling and acting careers of Tautou are interspersed. Tautou was the model of L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and is known as The Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting profession she is also interested in photography. She recently exhibited some of her photographs during Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival under the title Superficial. Her photographs focuses primarily on celebrity and fame. The camera's focus is at journalists, who sat and watched her during her rise to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's global success and fame soared after her role in the film as Amelie Poulain's lead actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie received international acclai film box office successes and received acclaim at awards ceremonies across the globe. It's the largest French language film to ever be released in the US. In the following year, she appeared in British dramas including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Junet's The long day of the fiancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood to work in Hollywood, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
