Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 during an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi was the Romanian gymnastics coach who later became her coach in later years, discovered her at age six. Her first competition was in The National Junior Championships which she was 13th place in the year 1969. In 1970, Comaneci was crowned champion. Three gold medals were awarded in her debut competition at a junior Olympic meet in 1972, which was a communist countries. In 1973 and 1974, she was the junior all-round champion. She won four gold and one silver medals at her senior debut international competition that took place in 1975. This was her first time she competed as an older senior. In 1976, she took home the American Cup at the New York City Olympic Games and became the first woman ever to remove the parallel bars using a double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry during her teenage years, when she performed as the figure skating duo of the sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol entered the entertainment industry as a teenager. Her first professional gig was figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment shows Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured ice-skating with actors.
